Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
-
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy combines the use of psychedelic substances like psilocybin with traditional psychotherapy.
Guided by trained professionals in a controlled and supportive environment, this treatment helps patients access altered states of consciousness to achieve deep introspection and emotional breakthroughs.
-
While psychedelics are still being studied in the context of therapy, known benefits are numerous.
Research suggests it may offer rapid, long-lasting relief for treatment-resistant conditions like PTSD, depression, anxiety, and addiction.
-
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy consists of three phases:
Preparation: during which the therapist and client discuss goals and intentions
Administration: clients can choose to microdose at home by themselves or partake in a supervised macrodose on retreats
Integration: follow-up therapy sessions during which insights from the medicine are processed.
